Japanese American Incarceration in CA & OR: My Mother’s Experience
February 23, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Brown Club of Oregon and The Brown Club of San Francisco have invited me to talk about my mother’s family experience being incarcerated during World War II for no crime beyond being of Japanese ancestry.
During the talk I will be sharing family photos and historical notes, and will include video clips of talks mom (who turns 90 y.o. this year) has given in the past. Mom plans to connect and take part in Q&A after the presentation.
More information and free registration can be found on the Take PART website.
This talk will be online and is free to the public. You must register to obtain the Zoom link.
